Presidential Campaign in Ukraine, probably, would be aggressive one and the advertisement and propaganda would be more obstructive, nevertheless the country would be expecting positive changes. It was declared by O. Lavrynovych on the 5th Channel on 19 October.
According to his words, the main part of the Presidential campaign 2009-2010 should be "evidence of what propositions Party of Regions were suggested to the citizens of Ukraine and in what way it was realized, when the Party Leader had the ability to adopt own resolutions and stood at the head of the Government." He believes that "concrete comparison of the one politician actions with that of another one would be enough to understand Viktor Yanukovych benefits before his opponents."
The First Vice-Chairman is convinced that the Constitutional Court resolution regarding separate norms of the law on elections would not lead to the disruption of the election process.
Touching upon the expert evaluation of the Ukrainian elective laws on the part of the Venetian Commission, O. Lavrynovych is sure that the norm that let the introduction of the specifications to the electors register remains unchanged.
Giving comment regarding the presidential campaign course, O. Lavrynovych expressed hope for the fair completion of the campaign and mutual understanding between politicians for the effective working of the management system in Ukraine.
